You will serve as a Management and Program Analyst in the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Supply Chain Management, Policy, and Performance, Fleet Support Division, Navy Food Service
Position Duties/Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for food service automation including Food Service Management application (FSM) and any other Information Technology used by Navy General Messes.
- You will ensure fleet requirements are considered and/or incorporated into detailed functional requirements and Statements of Work.
- You will oversee the functional development, testing, data migration, training, and deployment of galley automation afloat and ashore.
- You will serve as the Navy Food Service representative in support of Food Service galley management including Distance Support and Denied Communications initiatives.
- You will set policy for effective galley management for all General Messes.
- You will monitor the implementation of galley management policy and procedures to ensure they produce required results.
- You will serve as the NAVSUP Navy Food expert representative on various Food Service boards and committees as requested by supervisor.
- You will collaborate with Navy Food Service Stakeholders to ensure their interests are maintained on various Integrated Product teams and SME boards and committees.
