MATERIALS EXAMINER AND IDENTIFIER

You will serve as a MATERIALS EXAMINER AND IDENTIFIER at NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR YOKOSUKA.

You will Receive, examine, verify, and identify complex categories of materials and equipment, to include radioactive, hazardous, and classified material, as well as high-value equipment, precious/strategic metals, and complex electronics.
You will perform complex searches of shipping and storage records, equipment specifications, and manufacturing manuals as required for item/ equipment identification.
You will perform product acceptance/rejection, searches using catalogs, blueprints, schematics, technical orders, and product specification data.
You will monitor special programs, computerized listings, and documentation/records.
You will operate electric, LPG, or diesel-powered forklift trucks capable of lifting loads weighing less than 10,000 pounds as high as 168 inches.
