SUPERVISORY OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST

You will serve as a Supervisory Operations Research Analyst of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

You will have knowledge of supply procedures, maintenance interfaces, physical processing, inventory management, financial transactions and IT functions to manage research projects that include the analysis of logistic-oriented problems.
You will have knowledge in the professional discipline of mathematics, statistics, or engineering in order to direct, monitor, and evaluate data analysis to support planning, contracting, and program management.
You will develop analytical models, think logically and establish relative relationships among model parameters, and the ability to simplify a complex task by segmenting into various facets.
You will summarize large reports and prepare oral presentations to obtain support for adoption of the new ideas or for implementation of the results of the study.
You will have knowledge of currently used modeling techniques and software across NAVSUP WSS in order to identify common problem areas and to synthesize existing systems into an overall standardized set of techniques.
