SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Position Description

You will serve as a SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the NAVSUP FLC YOKO REG. The location for this position is Garden Island, Australia. Position Duties/Responsibilities

You will plan, develops, implements and monitors warehouse operations in support of Submarine Rotational Sealift Command vessels.
You will be responsible for the comprehension of qualitative and quantitative tools and techniques for analyzing and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of warehouse operations.
You will provide professional logistics support and management and serves as a subject matter expert in Inventory Management, Inventory Accuracy and Transportation Management.
You will coordinate the revision of contiguous program operations plans, goals and objectives for FLCY.
You will coordinate with receiving depots, aerial ports, water ports, and DLA Distribution for inbound and outbound freight, addressing unique handling requirements, volume surges, and transportation facility capabilities.
