LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Position Description

You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Total Ships Readiness Asessments (TSRA), Engineering Integrated Logistics Support Division of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR SAN DIEGO.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will participate in matters pertaining to configuration and logistics support at various meetings and conferences.
• You will work with the shipboard database, Organizational Maintenance Management- System-Next Generation (OMMS-NG), Automated Work Notification (AWN), and the Mobile Base Product Support (MBPS) databases.
• You will review maintenance action forms for correctness and update Discrepancy Documentation Tool (DDT) to reflect changes.
• You will represent the command as the technical expert in shipboard reviews and ensure proper logistic support is provided to the Fleet.
• You will be responsible for executing the TSRA and Integrated Logistics System (ILS) groom programs based on TYCOM direction, and In Service Engineering Agents (ISEA).
