SUPPLY TECHNICIAN

You will serve as Supply Technician in the Supply Management Department of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR JACKSONVILLE located at NAS Whiting Field.

You will conduct technical research of supply records and transactions to enable customer requirements to be processed and met in accordance with Military Standard Requisitioning and Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP) guidelines.
You will assist customers with management and supply inquiries and other related actions including answering inquiries on the status of requisitions, and delivery of materials.
You will utilize existing automated data processing (ADP) resources to perform duties and have a knowledge and ability to perform a range of standard clerical assignments associated with duty assignments.
You will have knowledge of automated supply and transportation systems to reconcile errors, delays, research open and late shipments, etc.
You will research documents, system records, etc., to develop conclusions as to causes for record imbalances.
