MECHANICAL ENGINEER

You will serve as a Mechanical Engineer of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

You will conduct analysis for manufacture and maintenance of aeronautical and naval mechanical equipment and perform detailed reviews on technical data for mechanical components.
You will review Engineering Support Requests from DLA and NAVSUP-WSS for contractual obligations.
You will develop and/or review and approves Quality Assurance Provisions (QAP) and Statements of Work (SOW).
You will establish First Article Testing (FAT) and Production Lot Testing (PLT) requirements and review supplier requests for waiver of contractual requirements for FAT or PLT on all CAIs and select CSIs.
You will ensure Technical Data Packages (TDP) are complete and viable for critical item coding for full and open competition.
You will conduct analytical studies and detailed engineering reviews on critical components undergoing full screen review and second sourcing.
