SUPPLY TECHNICIAN (HAZMAT)

Position Description

You will serve as a Supply Technician (HAZMAT) of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR JACKSONVILLE. This position is located in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Limited Medical Services provided onboard Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Please research location and job description prior to applying. #LI-NAVSUPFLCJ

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will conduct physical inventory counts, monitor the shelf-life of materials, track outstanding material listings for 30 day life-cycle management, and alert inventory managers or supervisor of serious discrepancies/gaps in reported transactions.
• You will maintain automated inventory records, collecting and processing input files.
• You will perform administrative filing of customer requirements.
• You will initiate communications with potential customers via email, phone or other methods and respond to a variety of customers, supervisor, and vendors inquiries.
• You will submit financial reports to customers as needed.
• Exposure to hot warehouses and weather elements.
