SECURITY ASSISTANT

Mechanicsburg, PA

You will serve as a Security Assistant in the Command Operations Division, in the Security Department of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

You will perform interagency coordination with other federal, state, county, and local authorities regarding routine and emergency response or other activities in relation to their jurisdiction and/or concerning properties, under their cognizance.
You will monitor all appropriate alarm systems including fire alarms, IDS alarms, and duress alarms.
You will operate and test all manual and automated system equipment, adjusting to individual segments, requests, and approvals.
You will perform an integrated function of routine and emergency Alarm Monitoring, and, when notified, initiate the installation wide lockdown services operation for installation tenant commands.
