MATERIALS HANDLER

You will serve as a Materials Handler in the Supply Management Department Mid-Atlantic of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER NORFOLK.

You will operate trucks up to 10,000 in gross vehicle weight.
You will operate a forklift and be able to determine height, and width of a doorway or aisle to load and unload materials.
You will receive, unload, and process incoming shipments and assemble items into groups based on information shown on receiving vouchers.
You will segregate materials according to factors such as conditions, type of transaction, or property class and routes along appropriate processing lines.
You will prepare receiving reports for locally purchased items and shipments not accompanied by a receiving voucher.
