Position Description

Position Duties/Responsibilities

At the GS-07 and GS-09 grade levels you will perform development duties, as assigned.
At the GS-12 grade level (Full Performance Level), you will perform the duties listed below.
You will provide engineering/technical consulting services regarding the manufacturing and testing of aeronautical and support equipment in their field of expertise.
You will provide technical requirements, advice, and support on solicitations and contracts drafted and awarded to ensure compliance with Federal, DoD, DoD Component, and commercial regulations, policies, and standards.
You will provide technical engineering guidance and support to other engineers and technical personnel to ensure integrated product support across the product lifecycle.
You will conduct studies and cost analyses to evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of different technical solutions and options for systems and components.
You will prepare technical reports, presentations, and other documentations to communicate technical information and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
