INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST
Position Description
You will serve as a INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER NORFOLK.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
- You will assist with internal and external inventory audit support across all inventory segments.
- You will investigate problems as they occur, recommend resolutions, and report to their chain of command.
- You will identify and define reporting and reconciliation processes from site system to Navy ERP.
- You will assist FLC organic and external customers in developing work methods, techniques, and standard operating procedures (SOP) for NWCF-SM operations.
- You will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a thorough knowledge of OSD/Navy supply management and inventory accuracy regulations/policies.
- You will conduct and coordinate oversight for local Inventory Management.
- You will be responsible for ensuring transactions and material movements are entered into Navy ERP.
