Position Description

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the Certain Competitive Service / Modified Direct Hire Authority. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Interested applicants must follow the directions in the "How to Apply" section of this flyer to be considered. Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will pack materials and equipment in all types of shipping containers, special boxes, and crates bracing heavier items at the bottom of the containers so that they properly support each other.
• You will construct and repair wood of fiberboard boxes, dividers, or protective framing for individual shipments or specialized storage.
• You will develop internal drawings and specifications to safely package odd or unusual shaped material and equipment.
• You will measure and cut lumber for non-standard, skidded, trussed and other required items.
• You will move heavy equipment into position on prepared supporting platforms by using hoists, forklifts, or other means to accomplish tasks and secure equipment with chocks, metal strapping, bolts or other fasteners.
