SUPERVISORY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Position Description

You will serve as a Supervisory Traffic Management Specialist at Naval Supply Systems Command, (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center Sigonella (FLCSI) at Site Souda Bay, Greece.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

You will serve as the Installation Transportation Officer.
You will be responsible for leading technical and analytical work planning, developing, and executing programs for the efficient transportation of freight, passengers, and personal property.
You will provide program management and oversight of all Navy Material-Handling Equipment assigned to NSA Souda Bay and supported activities.
You will manage the Military Customs and Border Clearance Agency Program (MCBCAP) and ensure cargo, privately owned vehicles (POVs), household goods, and other freight can move expeditiously.
You will provide administrative oversight of Personal Property operations to ensure compliance to policy, regulations, and instructions governing the process and movement of personal property.
You will serve as the installation disposition coordination officer, providing guidance to departments, tenant commands, and transient units on how to properly recycle, donate, or otherwise dispose of material.
You will manage cargo warehousing spaces, including spaces and equipment for crating, packaging, and in-transit storage.
You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.
