MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATOR

You will serve as a Motor Vehicle Operator of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR PUGET SOUND.

You will operate motor vehicles and operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) in the day-to-day operations of loading, offloading, and staging of material from Government and commercial stores.
You will load and unload trucks/trailers with material observing safe handling procedures using manual or mechanical means and delivers material to sites by most expeditious route, observing all traffic laws and regulations.
You will operate trucks up to 26,000-pound gross vehicle weight (GVW) on regularly established schedules and routes.
You will be responsible for correct storage and location identification of all materials and equipment to prevent damage or loss.
You will be required to stage hazardous material orders and offload material at customer stops.
