Position Duties/Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring sophisticated automated information/testing systems and equipment.
  • You will oversee a range of complex petroleum laboratory activities requiring application of a wide spectrum of qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • You will analyze all test result data and performs routine calculations.
  • You will ensure all necessary detailed prerequisites; i.e., proper sample volumes, correct containers, etc., for laboratory testing are observed.
  • You will maintain and oversee proper documentation of testing results, into systems of record, MAXIMO database, and/or the joint laboratory information management system (JLIMS) according to designated standards.
  • You will interpret and implement environmental regulations dealing with toxic substances, solid waste handling, clean air, and resource recovery and water pollution as it applies to product source discharges.
