GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST

You will serve as a General Supply Specialist in the Operations Department, Logistics Support Center (LSC) of NAVSUP FLC NORVA GF.

You will perform technical research to verify and validate quantity, unit of issue, availability, price, etc.
You will comply with Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) requirements.
You will handle emergency requirement and interfacing with ship/port services and prime vendor to resolve discrepancies in deliveries/orders and receipts prior to delivery of subsistence.
You will serve as liaison between NAVSUP, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support, FLC Norfolk, prime vendors and the Fleet.
You will recommend enhancements to the overall subsistence program to the respective activity.
You will be responsible for the local operations of the Subsistence Total Order and Receipt Electronic System (STORES) Web procedures.
