CONTRACT SPECIALIST

You will serve as a Contract Specialist in the Regional Contracts Department of NAVSUP FLC SD GF.

You will be responsible for performing pre-award, post-award functions, and termination actions on various contracts, including complex, high dollar value and unique procurements.
You will be responsible for all aspects of procurement from the early stages of procurement planning to contract award, including providing guidance to technical personnel in the preparation of the procurement request package.
You will be responsible for all contract administration functions from date of contract award through contract close-out, including monitoring contract performance and negotiating contract modifications.
You will determine the competitive range in negotiations with one or more offerors and prepare award documents.
