WSS - Procurement Analyst, GS-1102-07/09/11/12 (RPA 427804)

Position Description

This position is located in the Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS). The primary purpose of the Procurement Analyst is to provide contracting functional expertise and support, policy, management reports and analysis, and system administration related to automated procurement procedures and acquisition information systems used by NAVSUP WSS Code N94.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

At the GS-07/GS-09/GS-11, you will perform developmental duties as assigned. At the full performance level (GS-12), you will perform the following:

You will conduct regular reviews of clauses used in automated and manual procurements.

You will ensure format codes include mandated clauses and provisions based on contract type and clause prescriptions.

You will serve as the functional administrator for automated procurement systems, including establishing profiles and access consistent with security and regulatory restrictions.

You will provide administrative and technical support towards the development and operation of information technology applications related to contracting functions.

You will be responsible for making recommendations of best practices for implementation of acquisition systems.
