SUPERVISORY ACCOUNTANT

Position Description

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ACCOUNTANT in the Office of the Comptroller, Material Accounting Department, of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. #LI-NAVSUPWSS

Position Duties/Responsibilities

You will serve as the first level supervisor for at least two division teams and administratively and technically direct the work of subordinates.
You will review and analyze all financial transactions in accordance with accounting procedures incorporated in the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) accounting system.
You will monitor accounting transactions for error conditions and trends and implement corrective action.
You will administer internal audits for Navy Working Capital Fund (NWCF) and Appropriated funds obligations registered by Navy ERP.
You will prepare reports detailing financial initiatives and accomplishments.
You will provide guidance to employees in the implementation of new programs and strategies.
