OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST

You will serve as an OPERATIONS RESEARCH ANALYST within NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

You will conduct operations research using innovative analytical approaches and applies techniques in a creative manner to solve very difficult problems, enhance performance, or increase efficiency and effectiveness.
You will make prediction and analyze end results pertaining to future demand forecasts or explain past events while recommending best alternatives, relevant tradeoffs and limitations, review, model and analyze data from multiple datasets.
You will provide critical cost and estimating support to acquisition milestone decisions, or oversight reviews through the application of independent studies, Analysis of Alternatives, Economic Analysis, Cost as an Independent Variable analysis.
You will conduct training sessions in a formal and informal environment specific to cost estimating procedures, data analytical evaluation techniques and policy to improve quality of existing cost estimating capability mitigating cost learning gaps.
You will utilize approaches/techniques incorporating engineering, physics, mathematics and economics principles to complete analyses.
