Position Duties/Responsibilities

  • You will plan and conduct engineering studies, surveys, and inspections related to fuel storage and fuel handling operations, systems, and facilities.
  • You will identify future facility needs, assists in the development of scope, cost estimate, and project data, review and validate reported deficiencies and project documents, and maintain close oversight of approved projects.
  • You will investigate problems arising during construction and notify the designer or executing agent in order to resolve the issue.
  • You will manage the maintenance and overhauls of five (5) navy fuel barges including development of overhaul packages (plans, specifications, and cost estimates).
  • You will manage the Fuel Department Weight Handling Equipment program.
