Supervisory Supply Management Specialist

Position Description

You will serve as a Supervisory Supply Management Specialist in the Supply Management Department of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR JACKSONVILLE. This announcement uses the Direct Hire Authority for Certain Personnel of the Department of Defense to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will supervise requisitioning, acquisition, receipt, storage, issue, and distribution of supported customer equipment and material.
• You will manage an inventory with variable annual funding.
• You will be responsible for storage and Warehousing functions for both general purpose supplies, aviation's, shipboard and constructions forces support items.
• You will oversees the collection of Hazardous Material operations and usage data; Reviews daily, weekly and monthly reports utilizing N-ERP, Material Management Tool-MB51 (MS Access), and various website/programs.
• You will be responsible for all aspects of Traffic Management functions within their applicable Site and must have in-depth knowledge of Joint transportation policies, regulations, instructions, operating practices of commercial carriers.
