A. The incumbent serves as liaison with the Aircraft Fuel Delivery Branch (alongside the Aircraft Refueling Branch) and investigates the quality control procedures to ensure the continued quality of fuel products. The incumbent assures the Aircraft Fuel Delivery Branch has an established and acceptable quality control program for the products handled. To perform this function, the Incumbent conducts inspections to: competency of personnel, to guarantee the quality control system is effectively working. Assist and advise the Aircraft Fuel Delivery Branch in the establishment of quality control plans and procedures that are to be employed in fulfilling fuel quality requirements. In the Quality Control Plan, the incumbent assures the following are present and/or performed: 1. Availability for inspection of equipment and its suitability for the product intended. 2. Quality Surveillance over storage and transfer of fuel products. 3. Availability of calibration charts and tables, gauging records, calibration records of meters and other quantity determining devices. 4. Availability of pressure test records for hoses, gauges and required tanks. 5. Maintenance of filtering devices and proper record keeping of these devices.
The incumbent maintains surveillance over the quality assurance program for petroleum products from the time of receipt of the petroleum product to the time the product is issued (point of sale). Incumbent assures all qualifications are met for a particular product.
The incumbent performs daily inventory procedures in order to evaluate and compare inventory control figures with issuing and receiving totals.
