SUPPLY TECHNICIAN (HAZMAT)

Position Description

You will serve as a Supply Technician (HAZMAT) in the Supply Management Department of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR JACKSONVILLE.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

  • You will perform a wide range of inventory management and physical distribution (warehouse) functions for HAZMAT
  • You will provide services for management and operational support of HAZMAT for implementing a consistent hazardous material management program.
  • You will serve as the point of contact for all HAZMAT processes regarding cataloging, receiving, ordering, labeling, storing, monitoring, issuing, inspecting, shelf-life management, delivery and disposal of HAZMAT.
  • You will collect and maintain HAZMAT operations and usage data and prepare reports utilizing N-ERP, Material Management Tool-MB51 (MS Access), and various website/programs.
