You will serve as a Transportation Assistant (Vendor/Storage Management) in the Navy Household Goods/Personal Property Shipping Office of NAVSUP FLC SD GF. #LI-NAVSUPFLCSD
Position Duties/Responsibilities
- At the GS-5 level you will perform developmental duties, as assigned.
- At the Full Performance Level (GS-6) you will perform the duties shown below:
- You will act as a point of contact for all household goods shipment management functions related to invoicing, Storage in Transit/Non-temporary Storage (SIT/NTS), and provide Transportation Service Provider (TSP) quality assurance oversight.
- You will approve/disapprove invoices submitted by Transportation Service Providers (TSPs) or contractors.
- You will manage shipments in both Storage-in-Transit (SIT) and Non-Temporary Storage (NTS).
