TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANT (PERSONAL PROPERTY)

Position Description

You will serve as a Transportation Assistant (Personal Property) in the Navy Household Goods (HHG) Personal Property Shipping Office (PPSO) of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER NORFOLK.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will coordinate necessary arrangements for movement of personal property.
• You will determine best mode of transportation for cargo being shipped.
• You will prepare shipment costs.
• You will identify inaccurate charges from carries and mitigate problems with carriers.
