CONTRACT SPECIALIST

You will serve as a CONTRACT SPECIALIST in the Contracting Branch of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. #LI-NAVSUPWSS

You will exercise decision-making powers on contracting matters.
You will perform comprehensive acquisition planning, analysis, and negotiation for spare parts.
You will participate in all stages of the contract placement process and contracting initiatives.
You will prepare solicitations and evaluate proposals using a variety of factors.
You will work to resolve current and/or potential contractual issues and resolve questions and claims.
You will conduct post-award conferences and monitor contract performance.
You will negotiate extensions of delivery schedules, changes in requirements, technical changes, and any other changes necessary for contractor performance.
