Position Description

You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (SYSADMIN) within NAVSUP BUSINESS SYSTEMS CENTER. #LI-NAVSUPBSC The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Offers of employment related to this vacancy announcement will not be executed until the position has an approved exemption.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

  • You will perform system administration functions in support of application development initiatives.
  • You will maintain system configuration and manage the installation and integration of security and system patches, updates, and enhancements.
  • You will provide support for operating systems/services and research unprecedented system malfunctions.
  • You will consult with other divisions and departments to determine resources necessary to support technological advancement of operating systems and support software.
