TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

You will serve as a Traffic Management Specialist of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

You will review contracts to verify accuracy of transportation related items, such as (FOB) (free on board) terms, freight classification, funding, carrier mode, delivery schedules and destination.
You will recommend changes, such as consolidating contractor shipments and using alternate methods of shipments to reduce transportation cost.
You will be required to stay up to date and be familiar with all side upgrades and/or changes to sites used.
You will evaluate carrier operations for efficiency and economy to resolve problems of a wide range.
You will investigate and correct irregularities with transportation services and/or costs, material damages or losses.
