SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER

Position Description

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER (Deputy Director) in the N2 Engineering and Product Support Department of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT located in Philadelphia, PA.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

You will serve as the second highest civilian in the Engineering and Product Support Department.
You will oversee individual division performance, adjust manpower resources to meet workload commitments, and provide technical and administrative guidance.
You will execute policy and managerial oversight for the organization in the implementation and correction of new procedures.
You will confer with other Navy agencies and government departments regarding matters related to aeronautical and maritime material specifications, technical problems, and interservice logistics management.
You will lead significant projects which require investigation, data collection, establishment of criteria, and recommendations for courses of action.
You will represent the Director and the Department at internal and external conferences and meetings.
You will oversee a variety of diverse divisions in areas including: engineering, product quality, source development, PHS and T, engineering cost and price analysis, and HAZMAT program support.
You will plan work to be completed by subordinates and determine which goals and objectives need additional emphasis and/or support.
