Position Description

You will serve as a Materials Handler within NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR JACKSONVILLE. #LI-NAVSUPFLCJ

Position Duties/Responsibilities

  • You will perform a wide range of warehousing activities, including receiving, storing, selecting, shipping, and pickup and delivery of general or specialized bulk materials and equipment.
  • You will verify shipments by checking shipping documents.
  • You will match specific item identification by name, stock number, letter, code, quantity, and unit of issue on containers.
  • You will operate forklift trucks to move, stack, unstack, load and unload bins, and position material.
  • You will use tools and other equipment in a safe manner, utilize safety practices and procedures, and comply with established safety rules and regulations.
