GENERAL ENGINEER

You will serve as a GENERAL ENGINEER in the Engineering and Product Support Department of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

You will manage high priority, high profile, and complex technical programs as an advisor on mechanical engineering issues and concerns.
You will provide technical guidance, direction, and strategies for issues by coordinating with other divisions, departments, and commands.
You will conduct investigations and analyses on various matters and issue advice and recommendations to executives.
You will provide input regarding the manufacturing and testing of aeronautical and support equipment.
You will evaluate and resolve safety issues.
You will conduct technical reviews and assessments of mechanical systems and their components, including vendor proposals, design documentation, and test data.
You will conduct cost analyses to evaluate the feasibility of different technical solutions.
