Position Description

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base Facilities and the Major Range and Test Facilities Base in the DoD. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Interested applicants must follow the directions in the "How to Apply" section of this flyer to be considered. There may or may not be actual vacancies filled from this flyer.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will perform a wide variety of standardize and specialized preservation and packing work.
• You will prepare and process all documentation, special handling labels, shipping codes, and required safety data.
• You will ensure hazardous shipments comply with federal, state and local directives regarding packing, marking, labeling and certification prior to shipment.
• You will operate weight handling equipment such as hand lifts, pallet jacks, dollies, electric lifts and forklifts, tugs, trucks and warehouse platform lifts.
• You will transport material to and from the warehouse, load and off load trucks to facilitate the shipping process.
