Position Description

You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the Security Department of Naval Supply Systems Command NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER BAHRAIN, Bahrain Island, Bahrain.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

  • You will serve as a Security Specialist performing policy and guidance duties in support of various security programs for the command.
  • You will manage programs such as Information and Material Security, Personnel Security, Physical Security, including access control, Antiterrorism/Force Protection, Industrial Security and Communications Security (COMSEC).
  • You will provide technical security guidance to Commanders, Department Heads, Supervisors, Security Directors, Security Managers and Security Coordinators, and employees.
  • You will conduct comprehensive review and analysis of physical security plans, inspection and survey reports for compliance with existing policies and procedures.
  • You will ensure that all classified parts and material, to include Arms, Ammunition and Explosives processed within the Supply System is handled, processed, stored and issued in accordance with the applicable policies and procedures.
  • You will make security clearance determinations or recommendations for employees for access to classified and sensitive information, resources, material or work sites.
