SUPERVISORY CONTRACT SPECIALIST

You will serve as a Supervisory Contract Specialist of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

You will provide leadership, advice, guidance and assistance on contracting services related to acquisition strategies/methods, analyzing proposals, negotiating contract awards and performing post award administration functions.
You will interpret and review contracting laws, regulations, principles, procedures, and provisions to perform contract administration and determine various types of contracts, methods and selection factors to meet complex procurement requirements.
You will manage and execute all contracting actions within the Division.
You will perform acquisition planning, analysis and negotiation strategies for procurements.
You will direct procurement activities of the division while continuously reviewing, analyzing and facilitating the completion of contractual documents.
You will plan work to be accomplished by employees, setting priorities and schedules for completion of work.
