MATERIALS HANDLER LEADER

You will serve as a Materials Handler Leader in the Material Management Department of NAVSUP FLEET LOGISTICS CENTER NORFOLK.

You will act as the Lead Material Handler with responsibilities in receiving, handling, and storing Hazardous Materials and working with the HAZMIN center of FLCN.
You will be responsible for working with, training, and providing technical instructions to lower graded personnel, including relaying assignments and instructions from the supervisor to the workers.
You will receive, handle, store, and issue HAZMAT in accordance with prescribed procedures established by the Consolidated Hazardous Reporting and Information Management Program (CHRIMP).
You will operate various types of Materials Handling Equipment (MHE) to include forklifts, pallet jackets, and automated high rise stacker lifts in automated and non-automated HAZMAT warehouses.
