WOOD WORKER

You will serve as a Wood Worker of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR SAN DIEGO.

You will prepare containers with appropriate blocking, bracing for shipment of both general cargo and hazardous materials such as flammables, caustics, and corrosives.
You will construct a full range of standard and nonstandard containers requiring complex bracing such as assemblies, aircraft parts, radar antennas, engines, and calibrated equipment.
You will use/maintain a variety of hand tools, machinery /mechanized equipment while performing duties associated with this position such as wood working machinery, radial arm saws, band saws, drill presses,generators,drills, screw/nail guns and more
You will conduct regular inventories of all materials and supplies needed.
You will adhere to safety guidelines and best practices to prevent accidents and injuries in the workshop and on job sites.
