Position Description

You will serve as a Program Manager within the Strategic Programs Branch at NAVSUP Weapons System Support. You will be part of the Strategic Weapons System (SWS) Division who is charged with supporting the Naval Nuclear Deterrence Mission and the Trident Weapons System on behalf of Strategic Systems Programs. Position Duties/Responsibilities

  • You will serve as an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) manager for one or more weapon systems throughout all phases of acquisition.
  • You will coordinate and integrate actions related to the supply support of assigned systems, equipment, and platforms.
  • You will participate in all phases of ILS planning for the life cycle of assigned systems.
  • You will provide provisioning plans, schedules, and supply support programs for assigned systems, equipment, and platforms.
  • You will evaluate alternative logistic support strategies and recommend alternative options when needed.
  • You will monitor repair programs for assigned systems, equipment, and platforms to meet command goals.
