Position Description

You will serve as a Materials Handler of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR SAN DIEGO.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

  • You will perform the full range of material handling and warehousing functions.
  • You will ship, receive, store, segregate, and inventory controlled (hazardous and non-hazardous) materials.
  • You will read and interpret shipping documents and other documentation used to move, store, and track materials.
  • You will operate motor vehicles, forklifts, and other Material Handling Equipment.
  • You will work with automated supply and/or inventory systems.
  • You will pick and prepare materials for local issue or shipment.
  • You will follow safety protocols and guidelines in a warehouse environment.
